Alan has held senior management and executive roles with several multinational FMCG organisationsand is an advocate of leadership and operations excellence. He has implemented continuous improvement programs in complex and significant operations since the mid '80s and is a veteran of Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, TQM, HAZOP and HACCP.

During his career, Alan has gained significant experience and skills in strategy development and execution, project management, managing innovation and commercialization and business and brand integration. He is well versed in all aspects of quality management, industrial relations, supply chain management and human resource management.

Alan is highly regarded for his pragmatic, analytical approach to business management, and along with his inclusive style, has the keen ability to bring clarity and insight to often complex and intractable business issues.
