Colin's professional career began in the accounting profession where he gained his Chartered Accountant qualification. He then moved into commerce, specialising in financial markets. Working in derivatives and project finance he went on to hold senior management positions in major listed merchant banking and brokerage companies.
He was responsible for clearing and risk management and held an alternate director position for the Sydney Futures Exchange Clearing House. Colin consulted to the derivatives industry and then specialised in treasury operations and corporate structures in the property development and construction industries. In each of these roles Colin has been analytical with a value added approach, particularly in identifying business and systems improvement opportunities.
He is highly numerate and a logical problem solver. This analytical and practical approach ensures he is quickly able to identify the critical issues and drivers of the business.
