Dennis achieved an early career ambition to become an international shipmaster and began trading vessels operating from bases in PNG, the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Looking for a more commercially oriented role, Dennis then moved into the pilotage service as an owner operator. Dennis and his team successfully grew this business from inception to become the dominant provider in a very competitive and challenging shipping channel.
This experience naturally led Dennis into the corporate aspects of port operation, where he held a number of senior operational and management roles in key Australian ports, culminating in his role as a CEO of a major Western Australia Port. Arriving after a significant environmental incident Dennis delivered significant corporate change management restoring reputation and future sustainability for the business.
Dennis is passionate about adding value and sharing his experience and knowledge in delivering strategic, commercially sustainable, initiatives. Dennis continues to enjoy applying this measured and very practical approach to assisting businesses achieve their objectives.
