Mark Preece is an experienced executive who commenced his professional career in 1981 as a graduate in a top tier Chartered Accounting Firm specialising in Audit and Insolvency. Having moved into industry in 1985 he has worked in senior financial, commercial, sales and account management positions across a broad vertical group of both privately owned and publicly listed organisations.
Mark has held CFO, GM Finance & Administration, Sales & Marketing and Account Director roles for companies in the IT&T sector specialising in Enterprise communications (IP based Telephony, Mobility / Wireless Solutions, Contact Centre’s, and a broad range of enabling software and services), electronics manufacturing, outdoor power equipment distribution & retail, mining exploration and investment and currently holds the position of General Manager for a company offering global leading software solutions that manage an organisation’s workers and their tasks.
Mark’s accounting and treasury qualifications together with his sales, business development and strategic account management experience allow him to view companies from a strategic, commercial and customer centric perspective creating substantial shareholder value in complex businesses; it is Mark’s ability to relate to people at all levels that assists in high team performance and goal achievement.
