Using lateral thinking and with a passion for working in small to medium enterprises (SMEs), Roger has developed a proven approach and methodology to strategic planning, that has been successful helping in a wide spectrum of businesses reach potential: Identify business drivers and obstacles; Determine direction and priorities; Document the plan; and Implement and review the plan.
Roger's experience has shown him that with this approach, as well as efficient business processes and systems, positive results follow. He has worked in both private and government sectors where he gained hands-on experience in technical, sales, business development and senior management positions. He has a sound understanding of SMEs, in which he has experience in the retail, tourism, franchising, human resources, information technology and logistics functions. He also has broad geographic business experience in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and in the USA (where he developed franchises).
Roger's extensive exposure to the SME sector, his ability to think laterally when exploring clients' unique situations is complemented by his passion to work alongside business owners to help them reach their potential - through strong leadership, strategic planning and the implementation of documented and efficient business systems.
Roger practises a straightforward approach and philosophy to business planning - supporting and enhancing people and processes with practical use of technology, wherever possibly maximising the potential of existing infrastructure and personnel.
